| Blaze is getting neutered tomorrow! Please send good thoughts my way. Blaze is getting neutered tomorrow morning and I am very nervous about this. He has to be there between 8 and 9 am and has to spend the evening! That's the hardest part for me. Im going to ask if there is anyway he can come home. But if he can't I will be there first thing friday morning to pick up my little lover boy! If you remember please keep him in your thoughts! Thanks everyone

| Yes, they have someone on staff that stays w/all the inpatient animals. They board there as well so someone is there for those animals as well. I wouldnt leave him otherwise!

| I feel the same way but some vets do leave them unattended and some people are okay with it, so I was just checking.

| Happy Thoughts....Happy Thoughts! Blaze (and you) will be in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow! When Mojo got neutered, we had to drop him off between 7 and 9...but the main vet doesn't get there until 9, so we took him in right at 9! (I'm bad) She called me at 1 and said that I could pick him up...BUT this is because she knows how I am (we have known each other for a long time and she knows how anal I am). He did fine...he was all hyper and giving kisses when I picked him up...he was groggy that evening and did well all night. We put a little preemie onsie on him, so he wouldn't mess w/ that area. He was back to his normal self the next day....but I didn't let him over do it...and the second day was Thanksgiving and he was just fine!

| Awww give Blaze lots of hugs from me and hugs for Mommy too. I'm sure he will do great! Jamie is getting neutered on the April 2nd and I'm terrified too. I bet it will be hard for you to leave him overnight. Hopefully they'll let you bring him home though.

| By the way, Ellie was spayed and had a liver biopsy in the same day and came home less than five hours later. They could've easily kept her overnight because they are there but it just wasn't necessary... I know all vets are different but as long as he comes out of anesthesia fine and he can be kept quiet at home, I'd want him home.

| thats the third time I have heard vets keeping them overnight... I have an amazing vet, and Roxi was fixed, microchipped and had 14 teeth pulled and I dropped her off between 730am and 830am and picked her up the same day @ 6pm... guess maybe it depends on the vet, I don't know. I was a mess too! Didn't sleep the night before at all, or the night she came home. but they are so strong its amazing!! Good luck Blaze!! we will be thinking of you!! XXXX
