| Dog Treats with Cocoa Powder... Cocoa powder is listed as the 6th ingredient. I thought chocolate was definitely a no no for dogs. Can anyone advise me, do you think these are ok to give to my baby?

| I agree with Marci! I'd be afraid to feed my baby anything that had any form of chocolate in it! |

| Wow! I'm glad you read the ingredients. I would like to think I always do, but I don't know. If it said it was for dogs, I'm not sure I would have checked. Could you post the brand and name of the treats? I would appreciate it.

| are these treats made in china???? this makes me very upset b/c many people don't read the label and their pet could be at risk. this stuff needs to be regulated better. do you have a link for the treats?

| I just dug them out of the trash: The name is Vitakraft Chocodrops and it's made in Germany. PetSmart said they "fly" off the shelf, can't keep it in stock. I assumed it was made with carob instead of Cocoa. Finally read the ingredients today as Elvis is having diarrhea and feeling poorly. I had given him a little extra treats last night and this morning and now I know why!! I hate myself!!

| oh wow! I have those in my cupboard! I bought some since Gizmo liked the yogurt drops so much, but he didn't like the chocodrops. I'm glad now. Thanks for the info.

| Wonder how many other pet owners have doggies with diarrhea and don't attribute it to the chocolate treats? I'm so concerned about my furbabies eating chocolate that I don't even buy treats that have carob in it because I don't want them gravitating towards the taste of chocolate. I have to read the ingredients to all treats/food because my Pommie, Snowboy, is allergic to wheat, corn, and something else that I haven't figured out yet.

| I have almost bought the chocolate ones since they are made by the same company that makes the Yogurt Drops. I did not but did buy the Yogurt drops. Just like giving up on the Chinese toys I think it is time to pretty well give up on treats bought in pet stores. If you don't know what is in the treats one should not buy them. They are making our babies sick.

| That's ridiculous. I know one company used onion in their treats... I just don't get it.

| I saw these today at Petsmart! They really do have cocoa powder in them! Crazy! I noticed petsmart has a lot of new treats in that are dehydrated meats like duck, turkey, chicken, salmon, tuna, etc. All they are is that meat. I was about to buy some of the duck treats but then noticed it said "product of china". They all said that! I was so disapointed...
