| Trixie just got spayed! Hi everyone!!! I just got my Trixie spayed today after tryin to make up my mind for ages!! She had a reaction from the anaesthetic nd got sick but they said she should be fine. She hasn't moved from her bed since i got her home nd she's been asleep since i got her home too. She won't eat but drank some water from my hand. She's breathing really fast and i'm kind of starting to worry. Am i right to be worried? Or is this normal? Any help will be greatly appreciated!! |

| She's probably just sleeping the anesthesia off. I'm sure there are people on here who can give you good advice. Welcome to YT. I am glad you are here.

| Can you take her respiration and tell us? Are her gums pink? Crying in pain is normal but breathing fast while sleeping isn't I don't think.

| Ok thanks. I will ring the emergency vet. Could it be because she is too warm? |

| They can breathe faster if they are warm but not that fast. I just can't believe that would be normal even after surgery. I'd be concerned since she reacted to the anesthesia though.
