| Feeding my New pup Lola So I've almost had Lola for a week, Her breeder gave me a bag of food that she had been feeding Lola before I got her. Today, I went to Petsmart to get her a new bag of food [the same Brand I'm feeding Sassy--except for babies] I wanted to begin the transition to the new food... I just fed her, & she loved it. But no more than 10 mins later, she Threw up Does this mean this food wont work for her? Is this normal? Do I continue getting her tummy used to this food? What is the best way to Transition her? Please let me know your Ideas! Thanks.

YT 2000 Club Member | I've always made the transition by starting off adding just a tiny bit of the new food and then the next day add a lil more of the new food and taking away some of the old food. I keep doing this everyday over a weeks time but taking more of the old out and adding more of the new until the switch over is complete. Maybe she ate to much of the new at first. Hope this helps, good luck.

| I agree, mix it gradually.

| The ladies above are correct. Whenever you switch your baby over to a new food, do so gradually... a little more each day over the course of a week. Otherwise |
