| pill pockets My vet told me to start giving my dog Cosequin sine he has 2 LP's. Unfortunately I have tried sprinkling it on food and he doesn't want to eat it. So I was thinking of using pill pockets. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried it and does the dog really enjoy it as much as advertised?

| I just saw those at the vets the other day. When I gave Cosaquin to another one of my dogs I would put it in a little peanut butter.

| Reggie's on antibiotics now. I use cheese and peanut butter. But he just catches on so fast! What are pill pockets?

| I just put Ellie's Denosyl in her mouth and follow with water. She has to swallow then. It is fast and easy.

| I used to do that with my big dogs, but it seems harder with the littler ones.

| Gracie figured out the pill pockets after a couple of doses. I ended up softening some hard yellow cheese (extra sharp cheddar) in my hands and then wrapping that around the pill. Gracie will take that every time. I think the cheese smell conceals the smell of the pill inside.

| I don't have too much of a choice since Denosyl cannot be given with food or crushed. It is okay to use a very small amount of food with it but is better to give it with just water...

| I alternate between pill pockets and Merrick Gourmet Sausage treat (Conner loves these, and they are soft so you can put it right around the pill).

| I use Pill Pockets for Daisy's Cerenia (car sick medicine) and she gobbles it down!! pill is totally enclosed,, smells of BBQ chicken! at first i was using Cheese,, but then read up on the medicine at their website,, where it specifically says not to give in chese ,etc.. as the greasy stuff can kill the effect and possibly make them sick to their tummies.. i ordered mine online (forget where),, but for a good price,, we give Pill Pockets

| Thanks for letting me know about the Merrick sausage treats. I will try that because this morning my Yorkie vomited after I gave him the pill pocket.

Cosequin is a patented, scientifically researched nutritional supplement dispensed by thousands of veterinarians to help dogs maintain healthy joints. As dogs age, it is common for their joints to become less flexible which impacts their mobility and quality of life. You may have noticed that your dog has difficulty walking up stairs or jumping on the bed. While he used to be eager to play, now he is content to rest. Even at younger ages some dogs are subject to joint health concerns which affect flexibility and mobility.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | The Pill Pockets turned out to be a great thing for Bella. She became so smart, she would spit out the pills with anything until I found the Pill Pockets. You can pinch a small amount and just smoosh it around the pill. Bella Loves them! Yah!
