| puppy food question Hi everyone- so I have had my baby for a week now. When we got him from the breeder he was eating caesar puppy- canned and beneful puppy- dry. I have been trying to gradually change his diet to Innova puppy- which I heard was a better food. I mixed the two- and at first he loved it- but now he picks out the Beneful and eats that- and leaves the innova. Any advice on what is a good, healthy puppy food? Is beneful ok- I mean he seems to like it? |

| I feed Milo Merrick, they do make a puppy formula. It has the pices of fruit and veggie like the benifull does maybe this will work. The only thing is you have to buy the whole bag, they do not have samples. |

| i think wellness for puppy is an excellent food..or orijen puppy or Canidae will be great too. Canidae is for all life stages so you won't ever have to switch!

| I feed my puppy Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Potato & Duck small bites. He had tried science diet, Artemis, Chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul, and Canidae. He likes the Artemis puppy chow as well as the potato and duck formula but he is mainly on the DVP potato and duck. It is also an allergy formula so if your puppy has allergies this is a good one. You can buy it at Petco and if he doesnt like it you can get your full refund if you take the bag back and they even donate the food to the local animal shelters. |

YT 2000 Club Member | If I am not mistaken All of the Merrick's are All Life Stages too, though they do have one called Puppy Plate. I feed my Jeter Puppy Plate kibble and Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul. I mix it with a little water so that the Puppy Plate makes a gravy and Jeter eats it up like he is getting the best treat ever!
