| Does anyone else's Yorkie Poop tons?? Okay, strange topic...but somehow you get used to talking about poop and pees with your little furbaby. So, Schmoo is 6 months old and weighs in at 2.75 pounds...not a very big girl. She has a healthy appetite and we are only feeding her all natural kibble mixed with some kibble for sensitive tummies. We do add a teaspoon of all natural baby food (potatoes and chicken) in the mornings. The issue, problem, whatever you want to call it, is that she poops ALOT. She only eats twice a day...and poops 3-4 times a day...but they are BIG...we make jokes that she poops more than she weighs in a day...is this normal?? Does anyone else have the same issue?? She is happy and healthy and a hungry little girl...she just poops and poops, but the size of it amazes us, she does have a sensitive tummy...thus the special food, but her poops are not runny...they are of good consistency...any advice?? thanks Nadine & Schmoo |

| Seth and Sasha poop 2 times a day. Once in the morning once at night before bed. What food are you feeding?

| You'll find many folks will say that the sign of a good diet is they poop only after eating. However, my girls are fed organic yogurt for breakfast, The Honest Kitchen freeze-dried raw for dinner, and we usually share a banana each day along with a few treats that are homemade from wholesome ingredients. Sissy poops only 2-3 times a day, but Angel poops at least 6 times, and like you described her's are NOT small and firm in consistency. She definitely does not have an sensitive stomach.

| A lot of dog food has just too much filler, and because if this, they tend to poop way too often. Evidently she's eating more filler than necessary. Have you considered switching her to "real" food?? It would be so much better and healthier for her. |

| Schmoo is eating an all organic food made from veggies and beef, just a kibble mixed with the vet food Eukanuba Low Residue, and as I said an organic baby food...she poops 3-4 times a day, but good solid consistency and not runny, but big...lol...her body weight in a day Nadine |

| Well we are in Canada and that brand of food is not available to us, any one in Canada that has some all natural food they recommend? Anything is worth a try, how about recipes for at home to make? My hubby is a chef so I am sure he can whip it up for the pup? Thanks Nadine |

| Ellie poops once a day and sometimes twice. I would not be comfortable if she went more than 3 times. I am sure there are plenty of dogs who poop more than that which is probably just fine as long as their vets think they are healthy. Wow, Luvmysissy, 6 times? I have never heard of that.
