Does anyone else's Yorkie Poop tons??

We feed ours 3 times a day and they are in between 4 and 5 lbs and their poo is like a child' size poo. Pretty big size for such small dogs. Can not believe it came out of them. Atleast they are going...LOL. They usually poo 2x a day...sometimes 3.

I'm still free feeding, but she is going 3-4 times a day. She was going 5-6 and the vet was very unhappy with that. I wish I could get her down to 3 times a day.

Penny gets wet food in the AM and PM. She has kibble available all day. She only poops after she eats. I guess that's ok.

We had the same thing with Lucy. Her poops were so big that I would bring the whole family out to look. But as it ended up she had stomach inflammation and was not able to get all the nutrients she needed from her food. They put her on a easy to digest prescription diet and it changed everything. Her coat is beautiful, fuller, and she put on a pound. This probably has nothing to do with what is going on with your dog, but I thought I'd let you know what happened to us.

I was feeding Gracie Eukanubu until I realized that it has fillers in it that are not necessary. I would definitely find something that is totally all natural or organic. I do not know if you can get merrick or chicken soup for the soul for her but those are the ones I would recommend. This is just been my experience.

Jamie was on Wellness puppy and his poos were much bigger and smelllllyyyy, but I switched him to NV Raw Medallions and now is poos are tiny and smell free. Oh and he poos 2 times a day.

Chloe poops 2-3 times a day. Sometimes more but she eats it before I can count it!!!! What a gross little doggie she can be!!!

Chester poops only once to twice a day and he weighs 9 lbs and he eats solid gold and wet food from addiction or evangers. I had chester on timberwolf for a while and he pooped a lot on it. I know extra fiber can clean them out alittle more

Kash seems to poop once a day as well... and sometimes twice. usually though, it's just in the morning. i thought this was weird because i firgured he's have to go more than that... i feel better to see that other yorkies don't go very often either...

Normally, they poo as many time they eat in the day.
