Actually http://www.iamscruelty.com/notTested.asp has at least a partial list of brands that have reported they do not use animal testing.........

OMG, I did watch this video... it was very hard to see really at times what was going on.. the cry's and screams were enough for me.. I thought my heart was going to break. I will even love my babies even more so tonight if that is at all possible..

Don't feel badly for the video being posted, it is obvious what it is going to show from your post so if someone doesn't want to see it then they do not need to click it. I think posting this is a good thing, I was using Eukanuba until I found out they did cruel animal testing and imediately switched foods. I did watch the videos because I was interested in exactly what they did that was cruel. Now I'm even more glad that I switched. If things like this become well known it will just bring more education to the public to make the right choices with their animals foods. I would tend to think that the consumers that are buying foods for animals are animal lovers

I personally don't believe much of anything that PETA puts out. Those videos could have been taken anywhere...at a puppy mill, or over in China where they treat dogs like that. I'm not saying it's not true...just that I've seen too much on the net where someone has started something to hurt another's business.

I've posted this before, but it isn't just Iams - it is the parent company procter and gamble too. P&G makes everything - tide, tooth paste, pringles - everything!! I've been trying to use method cleaning products to avoid P&G

Is this a good dog food to feed to my yorkies? I am not sure but I think it is saying in this article that this company hurts puppies in some way? I hope someone can explain to me what is going on without me having to watch a horrible video.

I can't watch things like this they are too upsetting. I really appreciate the "warning" and I wish everyone else would do the same when posting things like these. I hope someone posts the results of their research so I can boycott if need be.

I agree with you. Sometimes, the videos are not what they seem.
I did not watch it, I do not think I could take seeing cruelty to animals.
(does that make me an ostrich???)
I feel this would hurt my heart too much!
Dogs are so trusting and I cry if I see anything wrong being done to them.

Hey yes they do serious animal studies and while doing these studies they hurt the animals very badly and then put them down all for the sake of 'bettering their product'

I researched dog foods years ago and found some HORRID videos on what animal testing IAMS does. I will NEVERRRRR purchase or support an Iams product every!! I chose not to watch the video based on other videos I've seen of what they do.

I feed Tessa Orijen puppy, she gets a bath about once a week with oatmeal & aloe vera shampoo and oatmeal & aloe conditioner. She gets dry skin too. I have also just bought Wondercoat Skin Lotion and that seems to work really well too.
