| Mochi will be spayed in 4 days! Mochi will be 7 months soon and I scheduled her for spaying next week. I also scheduled to have her baby teeth extracted, too. I remember last time I had Kimchee neutured about the same age. He was much bigger in size so I was not as worried as this time. Mochi is now 2.5 lbs. I hope you can help me out: 1) Is there anything I should do for postsurgery (I know for after neuturing, but have no experience for spaying)? 2) Did anyone of your babies had the surgery and teeth extraction at the same time? If so, was it too much for them? 3) Did your baby stayed overnight after the surgery? Is it really necessary? 4) Any other related advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

| Definitely YES since this is her first time in surgery. Do you suggest bile test, too?

| An Update About Mochi Mochi did well in the surgery, she had 10 baby teeth extracted and microchipped. The vet released her the same day because he said that Mochi did well and she was so tiny and she needed mommy's love. I was about the 'fight' to pick up Mochi the same day since I knew they didn't have anyone working in the hospital overnight. What's the point of keeping patients there without anyone looking after them? Mochi whinned a lot and did not sleep after coming home, it was heart broken to see her cry. Finally the pain killer kicked in late at night and all of us had a good night sleep till 5:30am. I appreciate the valuable info given to me about spaying. Thank you!
