| Prissy needs to get spayed.... Prissy just turned 2 and she has not been spayed yet. My vet told me somewhere between 2 and 3 would be the best time. I really don't know how much she knows about yorkies,( Ive had some issues!!?!!) can someone help me with information. I have done some reading and know that if I don't have it done soon it can cause alot of problems for her, I am not having her bred and one baby tooth needs to be pulled, I believe a vet will do this together. Also, about limes disease shots? Prissy only goes outside in the summer time and I do spray her then, does she really need these shots? The last time the vet gave them to her she had a really bad reaction, I had called the emergency vet and he helped me, but my vet never did call and check on her after that either. I think Im going to look for another vet. Any info would be great. Thanks alot

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | she doesn't need the lyme vaccine. as for the spay, she should of had it done at 6 months. she's already gone into heat a couple times i'm guessing, and that makes her chance of getting ovarian/mammary cancer greater. get her spayed as soon as possible and have that tooth pulled at the same time. if your uncomfortable with your vet fine a new one.
