| Help!!! they're driving me crazy! okay, i've had it with these fleas!! i have been doing everything i can to get rid of them.. one day they're gone the next they're all over my girl! so this is the rundown..i give Bell a bath once a week, i put the frontline on her and about a week later the fleas are back! i have all wood and tile floors in my house except for my bedroom, so there's not many places for them to hide in my house.. and i have not had them on me yet, i just can't keep them off of Bell!! Bell does go outside to go to the bathroom and play... last week i dumped dawn dish soap mixed with water all over my lawn... it was a good idea ... i don't know if it killed the fleas though.. this morning i pullled about 20 fleas off my poor girl!! can anyone help me? i don't really want to spray my lawn with the chemical stuff and i can't put any more frontline on her, i just did it a week ago! please help my girl and I!!

| How soon did you put the Frontline on after the bath?....Fleas also can be on wood floors they hide and lay eggs in cracks and along the base boards....Here's a link to help with some home remedies if you want to try and control them in the home without spraying pesticides all around..... http://lowchensaustralia.com/pests/bites2.htm

| i put it on 2 days later.. i have two other dogs and they don't get fleas like bell, do you think it's because she gets a bath so often? could it be the shampoo is removing the frontline? ewww, i didn't know the fleas can be in my floors!!! my goodness..

| Well you put it on correctly, I thought you might have put it on right away after the bath.....I haven't been having much luck with Frontline either I'm lucky if it lasts 3 weeks..... if I have to do flea treatment this summer I'm going to try Advantage...

| Did you bomb the house? Many years ago we had fleas in the house before I got Milo. It was me my roomate 2 cats and a ferret. We had to move out for a day and bomb the house to kill the flees. We also had all wood floors. Unless you rid teh inside of the house they will never be gone. |

YT 3000 Club Member | I have not had a big issue with fleas, but you can use the borax mile team stuff on the carpet, and then vacum it up, it justs kills them. You can use euclyptyus oil on them and fleas dont like it do not use on cats though. I use a flea comb often on chester as well. Good Luck I hate those little things. |

| We've had horrible flea problems with our cat and the only thing that would work is buying a pill from the vet. After the cat takes the pill, we let him run all around the house because the fleas that bite him afterwards die from the medication. That's the ONLY thing that's ever worked. |

YT 2000 Club Member | I;ve used Advantage on our big furkids for years (at least 8 years) and have NEVER had a problem with fleas. When we got Maggy May, she was INFESTED with them, I went straight to the vet, got Advantage for ALL 4 of our dogs and my cat and I haven't had any problems. Best of luck to you.
