| itchy skin Help! Sassy has really itchy skin and is scratching constantly. Is there anything that you can suggest that I do? I changed her food to canidae about 8 months ago hoping that would help...she scratches less but still scratches! Is there anything over the counter I can give her? Thanks! |

| I'm not sure about around where you live. I don't have a great selection...we have one run down pet store...and an animal food store...thats it. All I do to feed her it, is puncture the cap with a knife, squirt the oil into a plastic spoon and let her lick it off. She loves it and it works GREAT!!!

| If it helped a little bit when you switched to Canidae, it is very likely food related. What food were you feeding before? There are still a couple allergens in Canidae (like chicken) that could potentially irritate her.

Senior Yorkie Talker | same problem here hey there i have had the same problem since may. my poor little baby doesnt have much hair in the back of her heine area. her skin is dry and she chews and scratches constantly. i have tried just about everything. i did try a omega 3 and omega 6 supplement that you put on the food called dream coat. i tried switching her food and took her to the vet for answers and he suggested a shot to stop the itching. |
