| Tea Tree Oil Warning I was on another site and they were talking about tea tree oil toxicity. I googled it and it does seem to be toxic (especially if ingested). This applies to cats but sometimes in dogs also. http://www.vet-task-force.com/Abstract-tea-tree-oil.htm http://www.exoticbird.com/gillian/teatree.html Then there are plenty of sites that say it's safe. Food for thought...

| Thanks for posting this...It is definitely toxic to cats, and they say to only use it on dogs if it's diluted. I steer clear of it anyway. I would not use it on a liver compromised dog, ever though.

| It doesn't hurt them to use it topically. It is one of the best healing agents for skin problems, cuts, etc... I've used it for years and love it. There are also lots of shampoos and conditioners with it in it, too. |
