| Hydrogen peroxide....a for sure barf inducer My roommate called me this morning while I was at work. Zack swallowed an antibiotic capsule that was for my roommate's Beagle. She saw it in his mouth but he ran under the sofa and swallowed the pill before she could get to him. She immediately called my vet. The vet said to give Zack 1 tsp of hydrogen peroxide to make him vomit. It worked in 3 minutes...the pill came up (along with his breakfast) and he was fine. Whew! That was a close call. Zack is about 5 lbs and the antibiotic dosage is for a 30 lb dog. He ate breakfast again...after all that drama.

| Fewf! That was a close call. Good thing your roommate noticed that he took off with it. And that's a good thing to know just in case anything should happen to oone of our furbabies. Hope he's feeling much better!

| Happy ending Thank you all for your nice words and concern. Zack was fine when I came home from work. Totally back to his mischevious self. I'm happy this story had a good ending!
