gain in a week??? Sadie gains about 1 or 2 oz a week. Does this sound about right? The growth chart says she will be 4-5 pounds... that is how much her parents were.

I'm not a breeder but I think it really varies depending on each individual pup. I have 2 that are still young and they have grown at different rates. I think as long as your baby is eating and seems healthy everything is ok.

my girl only gains 1-2 oz per week too....she eats like a horse and gets lots of treats throughout the day....she just must have a fast metabolism

... she is never lethargic so i do not worry about her weight too much anymore (i have had her since the end of december and she has only gained about 7 oz)

my boy actually has not gained anything in WEEKS but he was soooooooooo chubby before (seriously he was way off the growth charts LOL) and i think he is growing into his chubbiness
