Oh poor Marty, I hope the antibiotics clear it up. |
Sending prayer for good outcome! |
I hope this fixes it and there are no further tests needed!!! keep us posted, k?? hugs!!!!!!!!!! |
Keeping Marty in my prayers. It seems to me if the anti-biotic cleared it up last time then it should work this time, too. It probably wouldn't have helped at all if it was an auto-immune problem. Give him extra kisses from me! |
Oh Marty. :( Get better soon! |

Wishing the best for Marty I Understand and just hate to hear what Marty has to go through, it is such a helpless feeling not knowing what the ear problem really is so he can be treated. Hope you will know soon, an treatment can begin. Keep YT posted |
Poor baby! I hope he feels better soon! My moms dog had the same problem but it was on her bumm! It turned out to be allergies and they got it under control! She hasn't had any problems in a while now! ;) |

Dear Angie and Marty, I was writing to find out how Marty is doing. You said something about vasculitis in your first post. My precious Piccolo has been sick since November. Took two months, but finally the Doggie Derm diagnosed her with Cutaneous Vasculitis - probably from a reaction to a vaccination. I am happy to report she is doing much better, because of her medicine, and I think she is going to make a full recovery. I will hold your Marty in my prayers. Lisa and Piccolo |
How's Marty doing? I'm sorry, I'm just now seeing this - missed it last month. Do you think it's leather ear? I've been researching all kinds of things the last week, because my 2 seem to have had some hair loss. Leather ear is a fungal thing, but not the same as ringworm. This is one of the best things I found about it http://www.shooterdog.com/alexfaq3.htm - it's near the bottom of the page & she has 2 pix of yorkies, but she doesn't show the back of their ears - lots of good info here. From what I've read this sounds like what Marty has - maybe her treatment would work for you. I'm not sure if this is what I'm dealing with. I go to a holistic/acupuncture vet he just gave me some shampoo PHYTOCLENS Herbal Shampoo - which has oils of Himalayan cedarwood http://www.aroma-pure.com/cedarwood.htm and Eucalyptus leaf oil http://www.aroma-pure.com/eucalyptus.htm here's a site to order the shampoo if you're interested http://www.tomerlabs.com/cgi-bin/sto...Products&xm=on |
