| bruising So over a month or two ago, I noticed a funny dark bruise on the top of Tia's head. I figured she may have bumped on her way under the bed or coffee table. Then a few weeks ago I un-clipped her mini jaw-clip that I use to tie her bangs back and saw that I had accidentally gripped the skin on the top of her scalp as well as her hair. There was new bruising that matched the old one. I've since stopped using that type of clip. Tia never showed any kind of discomfort that I had got her skin, and still shows no sign of discomfort when I touch the bruise or press on it lightly....but it's been there for WEEKS and doesn't seem to be diminishing. Will it be permanent? It's visible because she still has silver hair on her head. Is it a medical concern? Do dogs typically keep their bruises so long? Anything I can do to help make it better (beside kissing her bobo?)
