| Is Cheese good for my Yorkie? I was watching a dog obedience video on youtube and the lady was giving her Yorkie cheese as a reward. Is this all right for dogs? |

| This is one of those...it depends upon the pup answers. Gizmo LOVES cheese, but his body can only handle it in small doses. So, save it for the BIG rewards. Or start out with a little bit and add a little bit more each time to see how your pup tolerates it. Plus, you don't want them to fill up on cheese rather than good food. Welcome to YT!

| All my fur-babies love cheese but they only get it once MAYBE twice a week for a treat. My Layla is my yorkie 3 1/2lbs, 1 year old and she handles cheese fine.

| I give it to Cosmo and Jaxon in small doses. They both LOVE cheese and I have noticed their coats improve. I buy cheese sticks and split them in half. Each puppy gets a half a cheese stick a week. I buy the string cheese, becuase I can tear it down and they love it since I make it last. So far I have not had any problems with constipation.

| Jesse loves cheese. Like everyone else, I only give it in small amounts as an occasional treat. Usually, I give cheese as a boost when Jesse is not being responsive to other treats. He gobbles it down like mad. |

| My boys get a few pieces of shredded whenever we eat the shredded. A few times a week if that. They come running when they hear the bag open-LOL No issues noticed.

| Cheese usually isn't bad. Only if you feed to much and make them overweight... |

| Cheese My dog loves cheese too but it needs to be fed sparingly due to the fat content. Since my boy had a bout of Pancreatitis he has not eaten any cheese. Sad for him! I used to put meds in bits of cheese slices and he would gobble it all up. |

| My boys also love their cheese! They know the sound of the fridge drawer opening and come running!
