| Spay change behavior? My little Lana was spayed last week and 3 times since then she has had a VERY violent reaction to my other pups. She just seems to have a very short fuse and alot of anger. Shes never even been rough before and certainaly not mean. If the other 2 try to sit to close to me while she sleeping on me or they have a toy and bump her while playing she rips them a new one. I dont know how to respond to this so Ive been removing her from the room and putting her in 'time out' for about 2 min. then bringing her out. Is this the right response? Do you think this behavior was caused by the spay? Or maybe the seperation or pain of the spay? Will it go back to normal? Shes been my sweet baby and I hate to see her violent. It upsets me. |

| I have to agree. I have never heard of spaying changing a personality. Sounds to me like she is still feeling sore and under the weather. Maybe just give her some extra attention and try to keep the others away from her when they are playing?
