| I too am in the UK and having problems finding a good food to feed mine, my oldest who is 11 is OK on what he eats now. BUT my younger 18 months, isn't. I am having a nightmare finding a good food. I am in the UK too, how are you getting on with finding a good food. I thought of Royal Canin until I read the ingredients I too am considering James Wellbeloved. I would be interested to know how you are getting on. Diana |

| Bella ate RC until she was about 1yr. she did great on it. But everyone is right. If you are gonna pay that price, you should get your money's worth We use honestkitchen now. http://www.thehonestkitchen.com/inde...FQLBPAoddlLfxQ Force n. Strength or Power, Dynamism, Might, Energy, Life. Our original grain free dog food, we designed Force for dogs with sensitive stomachs and chronic ailments related to the consumption of glutinous grains. Force, like all of our diets, is a wheat-free dog food. It is also a gluten-free dog food. Ingredients Hormone-free chicken, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, sweet potatoes, apples, alfalfa, organic kelp, honey, zucchini, green beans, cabbage, bananas, papayas, yogurt, basil, garlic and rosemary. I eat an Anti-inflammatory diet so that is what I feed Bella. Wheat products can cause inflammation and eventually lead to arthritis, diabetes and heart disease. That is why I do Wheat free. |

| Hi, I'm a new poster here My two 5lb. Yorkies grew up eating Science Diet! Not sure if that was a good choice! They are fine, but I have to brush their teeth every day, to keep that food off them.I've been reading everything possible in this forum, to find the perfect food for 'Yorkies' ie: food good for health, food good for teeth, etc. and I'm still not sure what to do! If any of you know a food that is good for health (for Yorkies inparticular) and good for their teeth (like Royal Canin), please let me know. I want both. I want it all!!! My two Yorkies are pretty good eaters, so I think they'll try anything. Thanks, Emmy & Annie & Greta

| I am sure you will get alot of help. In the USA you have many to choose from. We in the UK seem to have less great ones, very few good ones, and a lot that aren't quite right. I looked up the ingrediants of Royal Canin for Yorkies and in general and for me they are a NO NO (No offense to those of you who love it, and who's babies do well on it) Look at their Ingrediets for the ROYAL CANINE YORKSHIRE: Ingredients: Dehydrated poultry meat, rice, maize flour, animal fats, maize, soya protein isolate, maize gluten, poultry liver, purified cellulose, beet pulp, vegetable oils (including borage oil), yeast, fish oil, minerals,fructooligo- saccharides, trace-elements (including chelated trace-elements), sodium polyphosphate, green tea and grape extracts (source of polyphenols), DLmethionine, egg powder, hydrolysed crustaceans (source of glucosamine), hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin), vitamins. I JUST CAN'T FEED MY BOYS SOME OF THOSE INGREDIENTS .. !!!!!!!! |

| I've been researching Royal Canin for a while now. That's what all of my dogs are on. However, from what I've found is that the original Royal Canin was good for them. It has changed over the years. I am trying to get everyone switched to Canidae. I'm much happier with those ingredients. We live in the boonies and have the Royal Canin delivered by a distributor. So I'm working with Canidae to get one of their reps to come through here and do the same.

I thought there was one place, but when I looked into it, it is in the EU and the shipping is costly for us in the UK | |

| Buddy was on RC when he was about 7mos old. I thought that was the perfect food for him since it was for Yorkshire Terriers. That was until I found YT! Here I learned about the ingrediants and what I saw in RC was just a bunch of fillers. He has been on Natural Balance Organic for years and has thrived on it. All human grade ingrediants. This is how we learn. |

| Hi I agree the ingredients aren't good. We can't get all the USA foods in the UK but we are much more aware of ingredients once we join YT. Isn't it great we can all help each other, to care for our babies the best way we possibly can. |
