| What is the best dry/ and can food brand? My husband gets the cheapest crap you can find... Ol Roy dog food from WalMart. I am sure it cant be good for my babies. What dry food is the highest recommended? She is one year-5months old and my other yorkie is six years old... Also I like to let them split a can of food in the mornings, what can food do you recommend??? Thanks so much |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Yes, definitely switch I tell you, a member here just sent me some of the Orijen 6 Fresh Fish and Sea Vegetables to try and my babies went absolutely BONKERS for it!!!! It is an EXCELLENT quality food. Your hubby might be a little disappointed as it is DEFINITELY not the cheapest dog food out there (if he is used to Wal-Mart's dog food prices, he might hit the roof when he sees how much the Orijen is ) - but it is a superb food.

| I would definitely switch to a better quality food. They are more expensive but definitley worth it when it comes to their coats and pooper scooping My yorkie gets puppy Orijen, she's 4mths, and my bordier collie\lab gets Acana. Alot less pooping and firmer poops make for easier scooping!! My yorkie had a problem with dry skin when she was on the iams puppy but her coat is nice and shiny now.

| I would switch as well. Gracie and Holly love the canned Evanger and the dry Timberwolfe Organic Wild and Natural, very tiny kibble. They also love Zewee Peak, it is a freeze dried all meat diet.

| Here is a website that will give you reviews of most dog food brands available. http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/ I would go for a 4-6 star food.

| I think Nature's Variety is a great brand. www.naturesvariety.com

| Evangers and Merrick canned are awesome. For dry, we like Orijen but if you are worried about cost get Canidae. Canidae is a fabulous dry food and I'd consider it to be one of the least expensive premium foods. www.canidae.com for locations.
