| Wondering about canned food I only have walmarts and petsmart to shop at and was wondering if anyone had a canned food from these places they would recommend. I know these stores dont have any 6 star foods and probably no 5 stars either. |

| I definitely recommend canned food over kibble (premium canned only). I've never looked at the canned food ingredients, but you might look at Blue Buffalo and Royal Canin. If you have a Petco, check out Solid Gold. Those are probably going to be your best foods at those locations.

| I think canned is better too. I fed Welliness for a long time but we have to drive pretty far to buy it. At Petsmart I would recommend BLue Buffalo. I also leave kibble out all the time for them to snack on if they need it. I have one on K/d prescription food and they all love it. We put canned chicken and sometimes the little Gerber chicken sticks in their food too and they love it. |

| Yes, canned is much less processed and includes moisture that dogs need. I have heard some people have success with Blue Buffalo, but I have also heard of some dogs who don't do well on it... If you can find a petco, they carry a few better foods...

| The only two canned food I use are Pedigree Lamb and Rice Puppy and Pedigree Traditional Ground Chicken and Rice. These can be found at Petsmart. I have used them for years with no problems but I just add a small amount of the canned food to their dry food (Canidae or Chicken Soup). I do like the Blue Buffalo canned food but they quit carrying it at our Petsmart after the dog food recall. Canidae canned food is also very good if you can find it. | I think the best canned food is Evangers and maybe Merrick.
