She won't stop throwing up I am glad she is better. Triskie has no health problems but one case of a bacterial infection because she was eating sofa, rugs, etc. She has outgrown that but I gave her a Bully Stick yesterday for just a short time and then took it away, it was her first one ever. She started vomiting this morning, mostly foam and some was a little yellow, she also had a horrible bowel movement, like she did with the baterial infection. I had antibiotic left over and gave her that this morning but it came back up. She has drank water and little bites of saltines and oatmeal cookie. So far, she is ok. What do you look for in the coloring of gums? Do you think the Bully Stick could cause it? Of, course today is Sun. or I would have taken her to the Vet. I am so worried. Thanks for any info, Donna |

I'm sorry you're worried. I have no idea if it could be the bully stick. I guess it could be. Her gums should be nice and pink (except for the black which is normal pigment). If they are gray or white it is not good. I wouldn't use antibiotics if you aren't sure what it is. You can give pediasure or pedialyte (unflavored). I just gave a couple teaspoons spread out over about 12 hours if she can't hold anything down. |
She won't stop throwing up Her gums look a little pink and purple. She will not eat. I cooked brown rice and put in her dog food, |
http://www.ehow.com/how_3028_check-gums-dog.html http://petcare.suite101.com/article....d_health_chart How many times has she thrown up? The only thing I can advise is to call a vet because I don't know her and don't know how much she can handle). Unless she is better now..then great. :) |

She won't stop throwing up 2 Attachment(s) Glad your baby is better. Had to take Tricksie into the Vet. Mon. She had another bacterial infection, blood in the poop. They gave her fluids and antibiotics. It could have been the Bully Stick but I have to just keep her on her own food, no cottage cheese and apple sauce that she loved so much. We tried the pumpkin but she does not care for it until she is starving. She seems to be back to normal, great appetite. If she gets another one they will run more tests to see if something else is wrong. Her only treats will be the Yorkie Yummies. |
