| Dry Dog Food, Please Help Us.. How many of you feed Chicken Soup For the Pet Lovers Soul Dry Dog Food? Or Canidae? I am between both of these I am just not sure which would be best. Considering I don't want to wait forever for samples from the companies (we don't have a retailer with either of these 2 close to me ) I am going to place a order online today for one or the other... Can you guys please please give me your insight on these two.. Your past experiences good or bad with them.. I REALLY REALLY Appreciate this.. Here is a little backstory: Gizmo was tested last week with a bit of a high BUN level.. and just to be cautious I want to make sure to feed him a food that won't irritate his digestive system in any way... Now my question to you is .. how many of you feed this food & Why? I truly appreciate everyone's help.. I know this question has been asked a million times , but my kiddo was really really sick last week, and I ask you as a mother would ask for her child to help me find a well researched tried and proved food that would benefit my kiddo... his health is my priority right now and I don't want to see him suffering or not eating... I know you guys will understand... he is not a dog to me he is my son and he needs my help, so I am asking for your please.. thank you YT.. Last edited by cindy0721; 01-16-2008 at 06:57 AM. |

| It won't lemme vote but you know I feed homecooked already. I feed it because it isn't overprocessed and it is better quality.

| I have personally never tried either choice that is listed. I used a mixture of Natural Balance Ultra Premium Small Bites with Nature's Recipe Farm Stand Selects. And, a spritz of Salmon Oil and the crew just loves it. |

| We feed Merrick's. Cali was on the Chicken Soup puppy food and loved it. But when I changed to the adult food, she wasn't as interested anymore..same with the Canidae...

| We are on Chicken Soup for puppies, but I am considering home cooking or switching to Merrick! Parker likes his Chicken Soup too, but I just would like a healthier and a possibility of him gaining some weight |

| Life's Abundance ♥ My girls will only eat the LIfe's Abundance. You received the samples today so i hope you will consider that option too. My girls didn't like those other brands that you listed and i have no time to homecook. My girls absolutely love the LA food and I love knowing that it is all natural healthy ingredients all made in America. I hope Gizmo is feeling better soon. |

| Homecooked/raw meat, plus some Blue Buffalo kibble from time to time. I loosely follow the book by Dr. Pitcairn as a model, but I reduce the amount of grain/carbs in his recipes.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | We do raw. But I do think Canidae makes a good product, in terms of a kibble. If BUN was high, are you concerned for hydration? If so, you might consider using canned (better anyway!) or canned/kibble combo...
