YT 2000 Club Member | YAY, I Got A Better Food :-) I got up this AM and took back that Natures Best that we baught last night for Maggy and we went to a few places until I found a puppy food I was completely satisfied with. I wanted the Chicken Soup For The Soul and I found it, but upon comparing ingredients of that and the Wellness Just For Puppies, I decided I liked the Wellness better. So, within the next 7 days Lil Miss Maggy May will be switching over to an excellent puppy food ad I feel WAYYY better about giving this to her than the Purina or the Natures Best. I had one heck of a time getting her to eat this AM though cause I wouldn't mix the Natures Best in with it, hopefully here at 2:00 when she's due to eat she'll eat it better with having the Wellness in it.

YT 2000 Club Member | Oh it feels AWESOME! And Maggy ate her purina with some of the wellness mixed in it at 2:00 today, which was more than I could say for 6:00 this AM, she WAS NOT a happy camper about having to eat the purina again, but, I managed to force her. I can't wait till she's COMPLETELY OFF the purina. I wished I could switch her cold turkey but I don't wanna risk a tummy upset with all she's been through already. On the other hand though, I had no choice but to switch my daughters puppy Luke cold turkey, he will not even touch the purina anymore, not even with the Wellness mixed in with it. I managed to get some in his mouth and he spit it right back out. He hasn't ate the greatest in two days now because he doesn't like the purina, so I'm crossing my fingers and praying to God this doesn't make him sick. He ate it like mad and loved it. I didn't even have to soak it down for him, it's small enough and not to hard to chew and so far, he's doing good. I feel bad for switching him cold turkey but I can't let him set there and starve either.

YT 2000 Club Member | Hehehe, me to, I popped a piece into my mouth to taste it, lol. I've always done that when I was looking for a food that Isaiah could handle. I have to admit, the Wellness taste much better than the purina, lol, and Maggy thinks so to, so does Luke, he will not eat nothing with the purina it in it now. He loves the wellness though. I love their treats, I get them for our bigger guys (2 boxers and german shorthaired pointer) and they LOVE them. Well the two of them do, I can't give any to Isaiah, I used to be able to but then he started reacting to those as well :-(

| please keep in mind when you are switching from a crap food to a good food that she will probably have some very loose poops for a while while he body is trying to cleanse itself of the crap that was in it... this happened when i switched from kibble to homecooking... so it is completly normal! |

YT 2000 Club Member | ROFL!!! Sounds like our hubbies are a lot a like. Mine says all the fur, shell & scale kids eat better than he does, LOLOL!!! But I feel great knowing they're getting a good quality food. So far no sckoots either, she's due to eat again here at 6:00, keeping my fingers crossed she eats it mixed still. I don't wanna have to switch her cold turkey like I had to with Luke. He seems to be doing good though. I'll keep ya updated on how that's coming along.
