| I need some opinions on this.....please... I was at Wal-Mart yesterday and found this food, made from Three Dog Bakery. The package says it is 100% human quality food, Natural meals made with chicken, carrots, greenbeans and rice. The ingredients are chicken, carrots greenbeans, cooked rice, flax seed, corn starch, vitamin and mineral supplements: (tricalcium phosphate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, choline chloride, zinc sulfate, vitamin E supplement, ferrous sulfate, maganese sulfate, copper sulfate, niacinamide, vitamin A supplement, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, potassium iodide, menadione sodium bisulfite complex, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, beta carotene, ascorbic acid, biotin, vitamin B-12 supplement, sodium selenite, vitamin D-3 supplement), taurine. The the guaranteed analysis is: crude protein 10%, crude fat 7%, crude fiber 1%, and moisture 69%. At the bottom is says Natural meals fortified with vitamins and minerals Entree for Dogs chicken, carrots, green beans & rice recipe is formulated to meet the AAFCO dog food nutrient profiles for all life stages. Made in the USA. www.threedog.com Anyway, sorry this is so long I just wanted to list what was in it so that maybe it would be easier for you all to give me your opinions on this.....I wanted to ask what you all thought before I feed it to Otis..

| I believe it is a good food. Someone else may know for sure. We have a Three Dog Bakery in our city and they sell excellent dog treats, cakes and other things for dogs. I am going to see if my Walmart has it

| What is menadione? I know it is in the ingredients, but I don't know what it is, and is it bad?

| Menadione is a synthetic form of vitamin K. Vitamin K is fine (for blood clotting) but this "chemical" isn't the best choice as an ingredient. There isn't much information online about it but here is one site: http://www.dogfoodproject.com/index.php?page=menadione

| Now I am really upset about using this food, I thought I had found a good food for him until I saw the site about the menadione. I just don't know what to do about it. I guess I will just keep looking around. We don't have any store's here in Ky. that have a large variety of dog foods unless you get them from the pet stores here and the vets sell Science Diet, I don't know noting about the science diet. Is is any good? I get Care-A-Lot pet supply books I think I am going to order either the Canidae All Life stages dry and canned or the Wellness just for puppy food. They have several variety of foods dry and canned. They are cheaper than the pet stores and vet clinics here. They have anything and everything you could think of for your pets. If anyone wants to get the catalog go on www.carealotpets.com and sign up for a free catalog. I love getting them....

| Thank you, that is what I have heard and that is what alot of people sell here at the vet clinics and pet stores. I would not buy that. I will probably just order the Wellness or Canidae from Care-a-lot pets.
