| a lump???? Maggie got her yearly rabies shot on Saturday and she has a HUGE lump where she got her shot. I thought it would have gone away by now but it hasn't. It doesn't seem to bother her but it is a very big lump. Should I be concerned? I will call the vet in the morning...but wondering if any of you have had the same experience??? the last time she had her shots, she was sore for a couple of days but never got a lump like this....

| Kimchee got her Bordatella shot and had a lump where he had his shot. I immediately took him back to the vet. The vet examined him and assure that it was just the liquid collected under the skin. He told me to massage Kimchee softly and the lump will go away. The vet also said that it could take as long as 3 months for the lump to go away. So if you are sure the lump is due to the shot and not something else, don't worry, just a little massage will do. |

| definitly had the same experience.. Layla's stays for a month... our vet suggests a warm compress and that helps Layla's a lot... but don't worry if it doesnt' go down... it will eventually! |
