Supplements Hi; Does anyone give their yorkies a supplement from NuVet Labs? My groomer recommended it, because one of my yorkies, has terrible allergies and constant ear infections.

I bought some several years ago and I really can't say that it is any better than other vitamin supplements. My dogs did not have any health issues and they did not readily eat the tablets so I quit buying them. What kind of diet is your Yorkie on?

Supplements Hi; Noel eats 'duck and potato', for alllergies. I have been giving her 'baby benadryl' but she still scratches and snorts. I do not see any difference with the vitamins.

There are so many things that can cause allergies besides the food. It could be the shampoo you use, air fresheners can cause allergies, vaccinations can cause skin problems, chlorinated water, flea treatments (like Advantage). There are so many things to look at. A compromised immune system from over vaccinations can cause lots of problems. Also, I recommend switching food periodically. If she is on a Duck and Potato, then after a while switch to a Lamb and Rice (I like Canidae). Also, I would recommend adding a enzyme, probiotic supplement to her food. Wysong.net has great information on diet and they have some great supplements. Best of luck to you.
