| I just saw your latest post! I'm so sorry your baby has been sick for this long! Did you try another vet? Is there a teaching hospital nearby? I can't imagine what you must be going through. We will keep you all in our prayers and please keep us updated!

| I have a female that like to get tonsi problems every fall she will get a high fever and not want to eat and vomit . visit to the vet a shot and sent home with antibiotics, she is usally eating by 2 days, if your little one is still not eating I would go to another vet they are too little to wait and see she should be better by now if not maybe something else is going on,, if you cannot take her to another vet you could call another vet and ask over the phone they will usally say your vet did fine or may say she should be looked at agian, or give you another reason why she may still be ill, fevers can dehydrate these little guys so fast, cooked eggs are a good soft food to start with or soak her dry food so it is not so hard on her throat to swallow, I ,always give nutrical when mine are ill and not eating or honey if no nutrical, hope she is feeling better today |

| Thanks to all of you who cared enough to try and help our precious baby. Unfortunately we lost the battle this morning. I took her to a specialist yesterday who said she believed she did have a liver shunt even though all of her blood liver tests came back normal. She said she was to weak to have any testing done and would need to be on IV fluids for atleast 3 days and if she made it that long we could go from there. She was just to sick and couldn't hang on any more. It is just so hard her 1st birthday was just 4 days ago and we loved her so much, it just doesn't seem fair. I hope her story may save someone elses pet. We have 3 children that are heartbroken so we are going to try again. The breeder seems to be very sorry and is giving us a new puppy that will be ready in about 3 weeks. Please everyone give your baby a big hug and kiss as I know I wish I could. |

I'm in total agreement with this post - It sure sounds more serious than what your vet is saying - is there someone else you can go see right away and in the meantime - please try the above mentioned food and vitamin and Karo ? Good luck with your baby ! | |

| I'm soooo sorry to hear about the lost of your little angel..my heart goes out to you and your family. May your new furbaby help in the healing and help fill the hole left in your heart. It's so hard to lose these sweet little guys. And it doesn't matter if they are newborns or leave us from old age. I'm thinking of you. You take care and good luck with your new little one. |
