| how much exersize does a yorkie need? I was just wondering how much exersize a yorkie needs? I have allergies (seasonal stuff) and being out in the fall and harvest season really bothers my allergies. Can running around in the house and yard be enough exersize for a yorkie or do they need a lot of walks? |

| Running around the house and yard is enough especially if it's only part of the year. If they don't do enough on their own, playing games such as tug of war and fetch helps.

| Personally, I can't imagine Jesse being satisfied with only playing in the house. I live in an apartment, so maybe a yard would be different. Although I don't know that I would let him out alone. Jesse gets three 15 minute walks daily, plus at least another two potty breaks. He still has extra bursts of energy running around the house like mad every now and then. And he's a fairly low-energy dog. |

| I have horrid allergies, especially to things like grass so I just take an antihistamine and that really helps. Why not try that? Then your routine won't be interrupted. |
