| I think oranges are too acidic for their bellies..same with pineapples, I believe. But pears and apples should be ok!

| I don't think oranges or pineapple are bad for them, mine won't eat them. The only things I found in a dog book is not to give your dog onions or other members of the onion family, like leeks. They are toxic to dogs and can cause hemolytic anemia that can lead to death. Other veggies and fruits to avoid: garlic, avacado, grapes and raisins, and macadamia nuts. All can be toxic to dogs. I feed mine apples, carrots, green beans, broccolli (cooked). They love most fruits and veggies. http://www.vetinfo4dogs.com/dtoxin.html

| I have given mine mandarin oranges and he liked them, but I found that he had a little softer stool afterward, so I don't make it a habit. But they aren't toxic to them. Mine loves apples, carrots, mango, even pineapple. He also loves green beans!

| I think the pineapple is fine. I know at least one member actually had success feeding it to discourage poo eating.
