| Vitamin C Hello - I have a question. I've read and heard about giving Vitamin C tablets to your pooches. Has or does anyone here give Vitamin C to their furr kids and how much do you give them, and also what are the benefits from giving them Vit. C ? Thanks for any input. p.wolfkill |

| I do not supplement with Vitamin C and don't think it's necessary as dogs are able to synthesize all the vitamin C their body needs http://home.att.net/~wdcusick/013.html

| The dog vitamins I make up out of Dr. Pitcairns book is called healthy powder, and one of the ingredients is a powdered Vitamin C. It's an important vitamin for sure. |

| Vitamin C is not necessary in a dog's diet. Please Google it so I don't have to cut and paste links. I think it might be in Ellie's all-in-one supplement but that is the only reason I give it. I would not give it just because.
