So the vet thinks it will just get better on it's own?

You gotta wonder how in the world he could have injured himself down there. It's not like he's been riding a bicycle or engaging in dangerous sports!

I'm glad it was just a minor injury and nothing more serious. Maybe he somehow scraped it on something by jumping or running outside...who knows...I've learned that the wierdest things can happen

I thought for sure it was something internal, you should have seen me, I was shaking and feeling sick to my stomache while i was talking to the vet. Then he tells me that It looks like he scratched it. I kept asking him how he could scratch when it is normally " in" ??? I guess they can get excited when they are playing??? I am keeping a clean belly band on him. Thank you all again for the support and kind words.

Could be UTI or injury to the penis. My boy went through the same thing, but his was just an injury to the penis. The vet usually gives you an antibiotic. It should go away in 5 days. If it doesn't, that means he has UTI. Please, go see a vet soon!

I am so glad that Copper is ok. I thought about him and "his mom" quite often 2day. I so agree that these little yorkies can makes us really treasure life when we experience their little life learning lessons. You are a truly a wonderful "mom". Sending Hugs 2 you and him.

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
