| Andy needs surgery [I hope someone can ease my mind, I am worried about my little Andy.About 3 weeks ago i noticed what looked like a testicle in Andy's groin area.He had been fixed when he was younger,But i thought maybe a testicle had somehow decended back into place.I took him to the vet but he told me that when they are "fixed" the testicles are cut out.He said this lump shouldn't be there and he schedued Andy for surgery tomorrow ar 9 A.M I am worried to death about this. does anyone know of anything that could cause this other than something bad like cancer? I hate to even say that word Please help Nancy |

| Sending healing thoughts for Andy. Charlie had a benign tumor on his side that was removed in July (he is 10). The vet withdrew a fluid sample first and then surgically removed it. No cancer, and not all growths are cancerous. Take care and look forward to good news for Andy. Warmly, Deborah

| I hope the surgery goes okay and it's nothing serious. Maybe he's developed a hernia?

| Prayer's coming that all goes well with Andy's surgery. Poor baby. I would think the vet could have given you a hint at least as to what it may be. Sounds like a hernia. Hopefully that's what it will be. |

| Andy is home now, he had a rough night but seems better today. The vet removed a tumor and sent it away, i will know more in a week.He didn't offer an opinion as to what it was he just said it was a tumor and he recommended biopsy. Now i am hopeing it comes back benign Nancy |
