She has had this bald spot since we had her and regularly scratches it on the carpet .Has anyone got any idea what is causing it and what I can use to help her. Have a look here

Awww, that looks very uncomfortable. Has she been to the vet for it? Strange that it's only one little spot, is she itchy anywhere else?

I looked at her pic -- I would have your vet check it out before it gets bigger - I don't have a clue to what causes it - though I have a cocker who wall walks and shaved her eyebrow off on the wall - it was a really BAD habit she has - I had a stripe down my whole hall about 2 feet from the floor - lol - we DID get her to stop doing that - and her eyebrow hair grew back....but that's kind of strange and could be a little bacteria or fungus infection or something maybe ?

She's cute !!

Poor baby we had a rat terrier that had a spot on the nose just like that it turned out to be ring worm

Could be a fungal skin infection since it seems to itch her. i would check with the vet though.
