| ![]() I am 2/3 of the way through changing over to Innova puppy food. Carl has gone from pooping 3 to 4 times a day to now pooping about twice a day. He's also gone from pooping about an hour after he eats to about 3 hours after he eats. This evening, it has been 5 1/2 hours since he ate and still no poop! What is up in Carl land? I'd like to have him poop before we go to sleep but I'm getting real close to saying "the heck with it". Any ideas? As always, thanks for any input you have. |

| ![]() Stitches - looks as if we may have the same digestive situation on our hands. We went out at about 7:00 this morning and I think we came in a little to soon because he squatted in the house and left a little present as I was grabbing him up yelling "potty outside" ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Less poo is better...Maximus used to poop 3 times a day on RC...since switching him to Innova he poops once maybe twice a day....according to my vet the reason he was pooping more on that other food is due to more fillers in those foods....the more fillers the dog eats the more that he has to poop to get the "junk" out of his system...his body is using up more of the Innova becasue more of the ingredients are digestible...did they make any sense????..well anyways less poop is okay Maximus sometimes only goes once...this morning he went twice (I think he didn't finish earlier)...but that will be it for the rest of the day!!!

| ![]() Luzangela-I get what you are saying about the less poo deal. This is what I was hoping for because the amount of poo I was getting before the switch seemed to be excessive. This is one case where more is not better. ![]() Hey stitches, how about a "zero elimination" breed? ![]() |
