As for a groomer, we stopped altogether about 1.5 years ago bc Wylie's quick has been cut so often by groomers - we just had it. If you look in the Southwest Region forum, I think there might be a few recommendations there for groomers. So, pre-welcome to AZ!

| As far as the Pet Insurances goes, please doublecheck. Last time I heard luxating patellas were not covered on any of them. It's considered a genetic problem. Good Luck to you and your baby.....

| Yes, I don't know of anyone who has had LP covered by their insurance since it's considered genetic. Even if it weren't, your vet has already dx Parker so it would be considered a pre-existing condition. That's why you really should contact your breeder. |

From what I have read if left untreated, within 5 years the pup will have other ailments compounded to the lp. Please look into an orthopedic surgeon, board certified preferably. Good luck.
