| Cold yorkie? Hi all...I recently had Guppy's hair cut into a puppy cut. Since then he seems to shiver if it's cold outside (we live in Florida so it's really not COLD...about 65-70 degrees). Do they need sweaters or jackets when they've been trimmed so short or is he just excited by strange smells in the yard? I know they're a single coat breed, but they still have a fairly heavy coat. Thanks for any help. |

| I think he might be feeling cold, remember he is used to having hair to suddenly being shaved, so the "coat" he had is now gone.

| shiveriing If I get mine cut very short, even in summer they shiver for days even weeks afterwards. I think it's the stress of being groomed. They seldom go to the groomer's so it's a trumatic experience for them |
