Something is wrong with Teddi!

Just checking in this morning Ronda to see if you posted any updates. I LOVE the pics of Teddi and Cassie together, and like Lauren said, I remember how adorable they were together at Park Bench Cafe and the beach afterwards, and I'm sure it really helped for you to take Cassie to visit her. I'm glad the hospital let you do that! And it's probably good for Cassie too, as I imagine she was wondering where her snuggle buddy disappeared to! I'm glad Lauren is close to the imaging center for you to hang out at while you're waiting. I'm working from home today, so if you need anything else, you know my number. You're always welcome to hang here too (or spend the night - we moved the spare bed in on Sunday). You know we're still in the process of moving, but we have everything you'd need at the new house, so you could just look past the mess! I'm keeping you and Teddi in my prayers. I'm sure you'll feel much better after you get the results back and know exactly what kind of shunt you're dealing with. Not a fun way to spend the holiday though...waiting for results! Will you get to take Teddi home with you after she's done at the imagine center, or does she have to go back to the hospital? I hope you can take her home and snuggle with her. That alone will ease your worry! Keep us updated!

OMG! I teared up over the pictures and am crying like a baby over the video Teddi is so precious and how could Cassi be any sweeter?

They obviously love each other SOOOOO much!

We was so touched with that video, praying the tests all come back okay for Teddi. She and Cassie both are precious.

I hope Ronda does not mind my posting, but I know a lot of you are so worried about little Teddi. She took her to an imaging center this morning where she had to stay the entire day. Ronda came here, where a healthy again Mango(Yay!) gave her many, many kisses, whether she wanted them or not...LOL We ran errands, had lunch and kept Mama Ronda occupied the whole day.... she got an inside look in the going's on of my crazy household.

Ronda left here a little while ago to pick up Teddi, drive her to a friends house, where they would stop awhile to avoid the terrible traffic. She called me just as they were arriving and I could hear little Teddi crying in the background. The sound nearly broke my heart, bless her poor little traumatized doggy soul. Ronda assured me she was not crying in pain, but more in fear that she was being driven to yet another location, where she would be separated from Mama and have horrid things done to her yet again. Her cries actually worsened as Ronda parked the car, because she was probably thinking a new arrival meant new fear. Poor precious baby.... I just wanted to reach through the phone and soothe her in some way.
Anyway, that's the little update. Her test results should be out Friday morning. Ronda was so amazing today, so calm .......I would have been climbing the walls.
Ronda Hon, hope she calmed down in her Mama's lap, had a good snooze to recover from her ordeal, and then some dinner.

I've been thinking of you and Teddi all day.. I'm so happy to hear Teddi can go home with you and not back with the vet.

The pictures and videos are soooo sweet. Cassie is amazing (I got to meet that beautiful Standard Poodle at one of the So.Cal meet-up). And it's wonderful to see Teddi's progress.

I'm just catching up to date here. Please let us add our prayers to everyone else's. The video was so precious!!! That is exactly how Coby acts to his big brother Reggie (although Reggie isn't as patient as Cassie). Lot and lots of prayers, hugs, and get-well wishes.

My next door neighbor came over to visit and bring Teddi some presents and a card. Teddi was so happy to see her and she brought teddi some treats and a very cute little teddy bear with a squeaker that Teddi loved and ran around with shaking it all over. She is really back to her old self. We will get the results of the scan on Friday so I am going to start calling early in the morning to get the results. Teddi has about 5 meds to take and it is so hard to get her to take them. She starts screaming....I don't know if she thinks she is getting a shot or if it just reminds her to the hospital. I will definitely get some help from my family tomorrow as it is really a 2 person job. Thank you Corinne for calling and checking up today! I really appreciate all the thoughts a prayers! Hope everyone has a very nice and safe Thanksgiving. I'll update everyone on Friday with the results.

I am so very relieved to see you are back home! I was so worried about the two of you driving in all that traffic, especially after I heard those pitiful, heartbreaking little cries coming out of Teddi when we spoke on the phone. If she hates the Meds, do you have something to hide them in that she likes to eat? If there are pills, maybe you could put them in a little of her food and let her lick it off your finger?
I know today must have been so stressful for you, but I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed having you around. It was so cute the way Mango kept jumping up and giving you kisses, like she wanted you to feel better.

Thanks for helping us choose those presents. Jack is by now snoozing on his flight to Australia. Can you believe how nuts he is to only go for the weekend???? Oh well, I suppose it comes from being married to me for toooo many years - I've finally scrambled his brains.....LOL

I hope you and your precious baby have a restful night. I can just imagine how close she will want to snuggle with Mama and her big personal bear, Cassie.

I found that when I have to get Chloe to take her meds, she does better if I wrap her in a towel or blanket. I get the droppers all filled and ready to go, and then I wrap her up and cradle her, and then get her to try and relax. Then I start with one that I think tastes pretty good, and I put that in. Once she starts tasting it, she calms down and I can usually get the meds in her.
