YT Addict | Mommy VS Daddy on Prunes? Okay so Hubby and I are in a dissagreement over what is and isnt' okay to give bella in terms of human food. I don't like to feed her too much ppl food b/c it enabels her to beg! However we do share a crosaunt for breakfast in the mornings. but that is it. He will actually feed her from the table when I am not looking or let her jump on him and take food out of his hand and look at me like "what she stole it hehehe" We know all the really harmful things, like grapes and rasins and chocolate garlic and so on, and don't give them to her but hubby is always wanting to give her ppl food "b/c she likes it" This from a man who thinks that she is a girlly dog. Anyways the one thing we are really in dissagreement about is Prunes! I say no don't give them to her b/c not only do I see what a few prunes can do to ppl but she is only 7lbs and I don't want to be cleaning up doggie hershey sqirts all night long! I also didn't know if they are like toxic or anything? Hubby says they arn't but he hasn't given me any proof of that assumtion. So I thought I would ask. I checked around but all I can find is like the usual no chocolate or rasins or garlic or stuff like that so I was hoping some of you might know? Thanks in advance Last edited by LullaBelle; 11-15-2007 at 11:33 AM. |

| I have never seen a dog eat a plum in a natural setting. I've seen them gobble down grasshoppers and a myriad of other things. I suspect the high sugar content of a prune wouldn't be particularly helpful. |

| I would think prunes are like raisins and wouldn't give them to her. I'd also make him clean up any mess they cause.
