| What to expect first day of raw..... How is everyone that started the raw diet today doing? Delilah has eaten 3 of the NV medallions (chicken/turkey) and I am watching her like a hawk. She had not had diarrhea or vomiting yet but she does not act like she feels good. She has burped like she wants to throw up. She is not her usual perky self. What should I expect? Is this normal or should I be worried?

| A raw diet is raw muscle meat, bones and organs. Some do a small amount of fruits and veggies too. A raw diet is the diet dogs were designed to eat. yes, it is much healthier for them. There are several threads about raw in this forum with some great links.

| There are manufactures of pre-made raw as well as buying at your local butcher/grocer. Nature's Variety it the type of Pre-made I am using. I plan to supplement with meats from my local grocer as well....turkey necks, chicken legs, etc.
