| Why Lucy won't eat Canidae - Help I think I've figured out why Lucy will not eat the Canidae. She has been on RC Small Breed Puppy from the beginning. I have tried her on the Canidae several times but last night I really watched her and it's just too big for her. She is very used to tiny kibble. So...What are my options? I know the high quality foods out there but do any of you know which ones have tiny kibble that she can eat? I really need to switch her since I think the RC is causing her allergies... Happy Friday

| Solid Gold Just a Wee Bit is very tiny and is what my westie eats. I will be transitioning Crickett to this food when she comes home so both will be on the same food. It is a great food and Turbo (who is VERY picky) LOVES it without me adding stuff to it. He also didn't like the Canidae! Good Luck!!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | What kind of canidae are you feeding? The all-life stage formula we feed is pretty tiny kibble. If it is too big, you can try crushing it. I have to do that with Jack's prescription food. I'm a guy, so I do it the most difficult way possible. I put it in a plastic bag and bang it with a hammer until it's broken up. But I'm sure there are easier ways. Funny you should bring this up tonight. I tried NOT crushing Jack's food tonight. (My wife said he can eat it without it being broken up.) All of the sudden he starts barking. I walked in there. He grabbed a big piece of kibble in his mouth and dropped it on the floor in front of me. I got the hint.

OP, I feed canidae to one of mine (always thought it was pretty small) and Pinnacle to the other two. (same size as canidae). Wow, I don't think I've ever seen any smaller kibble. Good luck! Sounds like crushing it may be in order.
