| Very Nervous About Neuter in AM I am so worried. He is 6 mths and 3 lbs and I hope he makes it through the surgery OK. I can't WAIT until this is over and done with. He has no ideal what I am about to take him to do in the morning, poor baby. |

| I understand... I had Finnigen neutered last Friday... all weekend he hardly moved, I was so worried I posted here, I called the vet, I didn't leave the house without him, even took him to the kids school. He was very groggy, and would walk 5 steps dragging his tail between his legs then sit and rest, whined ALOT (the vet said part of it could be that he's getting the extra attention and he's milking it). Funny thing is I had him sleeping in my room in the playpen instead of his crate and last night I put him in his crate well just this afteernoon has he bounced back... trying to run and jump and be his old self, even humped my arm, the little bugger. Right now he's trying to get me to play with him, but I think he should rest. Just give him extra love and cuddles, and don't worry, I think they pick up on our stress. Let us know how it goes. |

| I can so totally relate to the fateful night before the neuter! I had the same feelings 2 weeks ago tonight...Just be warned tomorrow morning will be even worse. I actually teared up when I dropped Teddy off I felt so horrible. If my daughter hadn't been watching me like a hawk I know I would have definitely cried on my way out the door. It will be O.K. and by tomorrow this time it will all be over. It didn't take too long for my little guy to kick back into a normal mode and he hasn't held it against me. Good Luck to you guys though we will be thinking of you!

| I can remember having those same feelings. Even though I had confidence in my vet, I was still worried. Try to keep busy tomorrow so that the time passes quickly is the best advice I can give you. Post an update once you have your baby back at home with you!!

| I just went through it today with Buddha and so far, it's been a piece of cake. I have to say that a lot of the credit for that goes to this board for the advice, comfort and support I received. Everyone here is so wonderful and loving. Tucker will back home before you know it. If you have specific questions or concerns feel free to Pm me. I may not know the answer but I will try my best to find it. Good luck and try not to worry. |

| My Winston is going to be neutered tomorrow too. I am really uneasy too. It will be so hard for us to leave him at the Vet with a possibility of an overnight stay. He sleeps with us everynight and is pretty much a mama's boy. I worry that he will be terrified. |

| Hi Tucker's Mom: my comet was just neutered yesterday and he had two deciduous teeth pulled in the process!. He is still a little groggy from the anesthesia , but he is steadily coming back to his old self! Funny thing is...I've already noticed that he hasn't lifted his leg at every tree outside, so I think the effects are setting in already. Tucker will do great. Just have some new toys and lots of hugs and kisses to surprise him with when he comes home. I think that solitude and peace and tons of affection once he comes home after the surgery will be the best remedy to a speedy recovery. That seemed to help comet chin up

| Update on little Tucker Everything went great and this afternoon he is up and running around. He took it alot better than I did. I am SO glad it is over. I was SO dreading it. Hope everyone else who is having "the surgery" done this week has an easy time as well! Thanks for your support and understanding. You guys are great! They laughed at work for me being uneasy. They said " aren't you going to stay with him and hold his little paw" UGGGG They just don't understand! Tucker's Mom |
