| It should be about a quarter tablespoon... honestly I pour it in a shaker, and I shake it over the kibble until I think is enough... I am not very exact for that... probably somebody would know better...

| I believe the directions say 1 teaspoon for dogs weighing 20 lbs. When I was feeding ML I would put it in a spice shaker and shake it over their food like I was doing a heavy salt/pepper job on it. Hope this helps. Last edited by chattiesmom; 10-28-2007 at 09:52 AM. |

| I home cook. I put 1/4tsp missing link and 1/4tsp. bone meal on Zoey's food each night. She also gets 1/4 of a pet tab vitamin. She is 4lbs 12oz. The directions said 1/2 tsp for her weight, but it looked like too much junk on her food at once. Plus since I give her a daily vit. I cut the others back to 1/4 tsp.

| I give 1/4-1/2 tsp on his evening meal. My mom said it's no biggie if I give too much; it is like an adult taking too much multivitamin- it gets flushed out in the urine. So I don't measure it out exactly anymore. As long as he is getting it, I'm satisfied The spice shaker is a good idea! -O
