| Great Shampoo I had to share this because Korki came out so nice after her bath. I purchased the Johnson's baby detangle shampoo for babies. I first rinsed Korki with 2 cups water and a small amount of emu oil, and then bathed her gently with the shampoo. I didn't rub but just kinda massaged her rinsing and sudsing several times. I took my time, no hurring. She loved it and it didn't burn or irritate her face. After rinsing and rinsing I towel dried her and then gave her a blow dry. She was so shiny and fluffy when done and there was not a tangle one. She is only 1.3 lbs, 18 weeks old and her hair is a little long and cottony. She looked absolutely beautiful, smelled like a new baby (her smell was becoming a problem) and wasn't all stressed out. After her bath we went outside to enjoy the fall afternoon. She layed on her back streached out, in the grass with the sun on her tummy very very happy. This gave new meaning to the saying "it's a dogs life". I'm learning more every day and much of it comes from here. My daughter asked me several times if I had posted our experience because she knows this forum has helped us so much. |
