I'm a show breeder and a groomer and know alot of breeders and you'd be surprised what we use....Touch of Mink maybe what some show people use......but not most......

No, you don't brush their coat daily......you over work the coat that way.....Never brush a dry or dirty coat...causes breakage.

Oh I am just so confused! So I never want to brush her hair unless I am combing it out as I blow dry? Just so much to learn. Your baby is beautiful, don't tell me you use Crisco....

Come on....share your secrets.....pweeeeeeeeeeese

Unless it is wrapping, can't picture my little monkey staying still long enough for me to wrap her hair!

Use a detanging spray....spray it on a natural brush if you must brush....

No, I don't use Crisco...I use almond oil.....

You're new and if you read back through various threads you'll find alot of posts on how to care for it and help it grow..

I am in the process of trying to find the best quality food/supplements for my girl. I have been reading like mad and still trying to learn my way around....just now finding the grooming section.

I have learned so much already with so much more to learn. In fact, I have learned tonight from you that my baby is a roachback! But not to worry, she was spayed last week. No baby roachbacks for me! lol...she is too small to breed anyway! Too bad I did not find this site before I bought her! But I love her, roachback and all!

Before I get another Yorkie...at least a couple of years from now...I will know much more of what to look for thanks to you and your vast knowledge of this wonderful breed!
