| Knots after wearing shirts I don't put shirts on Wickett too frequently, but I have noticed that when I do he ends up with mats in his hair. Is there anything that I can do to lessen the knotting or avoid it? |

| I always spray detangler on them when I take their clothes off, and then brush them real well.

| Yeah, that's what I've been doing. But I feel bad when the tangles are hard to get out. I was just wondering if there's something you guys do to prevent the knots that I just didn't know about. Heh, hoping for a miracle cure? |

| How long do you leave the clothes on him? Are the too tight? I find these 2 things cause the most knots in my little boy.

| I always brush Lacy before I put her clothes on and then brush her again as soon as a take them off. Also, if the shirt is too tight it will rub against the hair more and cause tangles so make sure the shirt is not too tight. Also, I never leave Lacy's shirt on for more than a day and take it off that night...the longer you leave it on without brushing, the more tangles that will develop

| I only leave it on for a few hours. This last tangle he got.....the shirt was actually a bit loose on him, but it was too cute not to leave it on him. It had little angel wings. I need to post a picture of that, it was too cute. |

| I've tried several....the one that has worked the best is Perfect Coat detangling/refreshing spray. It smells really good and doesn't leave Wickett's hair feeling goopy like some of the others I've tried. Is there something better? I'm new to yorkies and hair care for them so I'm just feeling my way around and trying different products out. |
