| Need Help From The Pros... My youngest, Juju, is 18 weeks old. Her eyes shine green, so I assume she will be silky. She has recently started to get many little hair mats on her belly and leg areas. I bought Cowboy Magic and tried it. I thought it might be the 'magic bullet' and the mats would readily come out. That did not happen. So, I have two questions: (1) Should I cut her hair short? If I do, will the new growth be silky and NOT mat? Or, (2) does this always happen with silky coats even when she is no longer a puppy? My oldest, Betty, must have the soft coat. It is great!! No tangles ever. Thank you for your responses.
