| what is best shampoo to use My Gus seems to have the very soft cottony type hair. I have found by trial and error that he doesn't need conditioning very often. He does have to have a bath once a week. He likes to go outside early in am and play w/the other dogs and he has become very friendly w/our baby calves so we wash the mud off the feet daily. We are currently using just regular puppy shampoo from petsmart (no tears formula). I am very yorkie ignorant so I need lots of info. Thanks for all info it is greatly appreciated.

| thanks for the info and the welcome. One of the reasons I use the no tears puppy formula was because it smells like johnson and johnson.. I even use the baby powder scented cologne spray on him.

| Murfee is 3 and we've had him since he was about 7 weeks. He does have quite a personality and is very spoiled. He rules the roost and knows it. He pouts like crazy if he doesn't get his way. Patty |

| I use Top Performance Baking Soda Shampoo like many groomers use. Baking soda shampoo is great for yorkies because they get greasy easily. I bathe mine weekly. The baking soda makes them silky, shiny, and smelling great! They have never had dandruff or dry skin either! I hope this helps! |

| I use Les Pooch Shampoo. I love the stuff. It may be a bit more expensive, but you only have to use a very little bit. They even have conditioners that you can leave in for that extra deep conditioning. Worth the try. http://www.lespoochs.com/shampoos.asp
